penny-one-thousand In a previous post we mentioned about saving coins.

In this article I refer to The Mega Penny, a project that aims to show various metrics derived from the comparison of exchange with other objects we know.

The intention is to show by visualization and what and how they represent different amounts of coins in these times where it's very common to hear talk about millions, billions, and so on.

The comparison shows the equivalent of a cow, a football field, as well as other buildings such as The Sears Tower in Chicago, formed with 2.8 trillion coins (Anglo trillion).

Although it may seem, save every coin that are in the pockets of the pants, or thrown into the house, can result in pleasant surprises later this month.

From penny by penny (or weight to weight), we can generate sums interesanets.

There are people who found a coin at your first thought is "oh, just a penny, I can not buy anything with it."

But why not view the long term? And yet, do not forget the magic of compound interest.
